How is Your Centre Allotted?

When filling out your NEET application, you will select your preferred overseas city. However, you cannot choose a specific school or institution. The allotment is fully computerized and depends on your preference order, seating capacity, the number of applicants in that country, and administrative feasibility.

You can find out your assigned city by downloading the NEET City Intimation Slip from the official website using your application number and date of birth. Your final exam centre name and address will be printed on your official admit card. Note: Once allotted, your centre cannot be changed.

Exam Day Guidelines for Overseas Students

Taking the exam internationally requires strict adherence to NTA guidelines. Failure to follow these can result in disqualification:

  • Mandatory ID: You must carry a valid, original passport for identity verification. This is a strict requirement for all international centres.
  • Required Documents: Bring your printed admit card with a passport-sized photograph affixed to it, another passport-sized photo for the attendance sheet, and a postcard-sized (4”x 6”) coloured photograph with a white background.
  • Strict Timings: You are strongly advised to reach the centre at least 2 hours early. Entry closes strictly before the exam begins, and absolutely no entry will be allowed after 1:30 PM.
  • Dress Code: Follow the NTA dress code carefully. Light clothes with long sleeves, shoes, and high heels or sandals are not permitted. If you are wearing a customary or cultural dress, you must report to the centre at least an hour early to allow time for proper frisking.
  • What NOT to Bring: Do not carry any electronic devices, smartwatches, bags, or stationery items like pens, writing pads, or calculators.
