CEETA-PG 2026 – Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions
The Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions (CEETA-PG 2026) is conducted for admission to postgraduate engineering and architecture programs in Tamil Nadu.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following postgraduate degree programmes:
- Master of Engineering (M.E.)
- Master of Technology (M.Tech.)
- Master of Architecture (M.Arch.)
- Master of Planning (M.Plan.)
These programmes are offered at:
- University Departments
- Constituent Colleges of Anna University
- Annamalai University
- Government Engineering Colleges
- Government Aided Engineering Colleges
Admissions are conducted only through CEETA-PG 2026.
A stipend of Rs. 60,000 per semester will be awarded to top-ranked CEETA-PG qualified candidates, as per Anna University norms.
CEETA PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for CEETA-PG 2026 admission must satisfy the following eligibility conditions.
Educational Qualification
(a) A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field with:
- Minimum 50% marks
- 45% marks for BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, and ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu
The qualifying degree should be one of the following:
- B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. Degree Programmes
- B.Pharm. Degree Programmes
- Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts
Alternative Qualification
Candidates may also apply under the following qualification structure:
10 + 2 + AMIE + 2 Years of Experience* (or) 10 + 3 Diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE + 2 Years of Experience*

CEETA PG 2026 Hall Ticket
The registration number assigned in the hall ticket should be entered at the appropriate place in the admission application form that will be submitted to the respective admitting authority later.
Candidates must download the CEETA PG hall ticket from the official website before the examination.
CEETA PG 2026 Score Card
The CEETA PG score card should be downloaded from the official website within 10 days from the date of publication of results.
Candidates must produce the score card at the time of admission.
CEETA PG 2026 Syllabus
The CEETA-PG 2026 question paper will contain three parts.
- Part I and Part II are compulsory
- Under Part III, candidates must answer the section chosen during registration
If a candidate appears for a different section, Part III will not be evaluated.
