The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has officially released the date sheet for the Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination) 2027. As per the notification dated July 13, 2026, WB Class 10 board exams will start from February 15, 2027, to February 25, 2027. This gives close to 10 lakh students across West Bengal a clear, confirmed timetable to plan their final months of preparation.

Exam Timings
For most papers, the structure is:
- Reading time: 10:45 am to 11:00 am (first 15 minutes, for reading the question paper only)
- Writing time: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Certain subjects follow a different schedule because of their practical or extended-format components:

- The exam will be conducted in a single shift for each subject, one paper per day.
- The first 15 minutes of every exam are reserved strictly for reading the question paper — no writing is permitted during this window.
- WBBSE has reserved the right to modify the schedule or timings if necessary, with due notice to all concerned — so students and schools should keep an eye on official updates as the exam date approaches.
